Anchor River Lodge

From the moment Susie met us on their deck with a smile, we felt welcomed and comfortable at their B and B. Sitting on the deck with coffee looking at mountains and water was gorgeous. The breakfasts Loren and Susie prepared were delicious and varied. We could skip lunch! Our room was large and the bed comfortable. As hosts they shared information about the area and we learned about points of interests we would have missed. I highly recommend Anchor River Lodge.

My only regret is that I probably won't be back in Alaska to stay there again! Warm and welcoming hosts, beautiful lodge, delicious breakfasts! We saw moose in the neighborhood and enjoyed the views.|You won't regret staying here. We hated to leave.

Stay here!!! This was one of the best experiences of our Alaska vacation. Susie and Loren are the best hosts. Amazing breakfast each morning. The views were breathtaking from their quiet B&B. We saw bald eagles and moose from their property. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms clean. There is even a laundry mat close by to wash all your fishing clothes that serves coffee and food! When we come back, we will be staying again 💕

Loren and Susie are the absolute best! If you want a 1st rate vacation at an amazing location, you need to stay here! Breakfast was amazing every day and kept us full until dinner. The room was charming and the bed very comfortable. The view of the ocean is glorious and you can sit outside and relax while your mind floats away on the waves. Fantastic information about the surrounding area available as well. Thank you for making us feel welcome and like family.

During our trip to Alaska for a friend's wedding, my boyfriend and I had the most incredible experience staying at the Anchor River Lodge. Choosing to stay there was truly the best decision we've ever made. Loren and Susie, the hosts, were absolutely amazing! The lodge's property was stunning, and the breakfast they served was delicious. But what made our stay truly unforgettable were the wonderful stories shared by Loren and Susie. They made us feel right at home and added a personal touch to our Alaskan adventure. One of my favorite moments was sitting on the lodge's patio at the end of the day, immersed in a captivating book, while witnessing the most breathtaking sunset. It was a truly magical experience! If you're planning a trip to Alaska, I can't recommend the Anchor River Lodge enough. You won't regret staying there and experiencing the warm hospitality of Loren and Susie. Happy travels! I have been coming to the Anchor River Lodge for 4 years and it is amazing! It is the best place to stay in Alaska and Loren and Suzie breakfest are legendary! The views are breath taking and you can see the Anchor River, the ocean, and rhe snow covered volcanoes in the distance! You can see moose, fireweed, and enjoy a relaxing, quiet, comfortable stay 15 minutes from Homer and away from all the noise! I recommend this place highly!

Loren and Susie are excellent hosts at their beautiful property in Anchor River. We made a quick stop through for a class in Homer and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. The downstairs bedrooms were very quiet and private, the view in the morning was stunning, and they breakfast itself was better than anything we could have found in town. They really put the “breakfast” in B&B!

Our short stay at this beautiful B&B was more than expected. We were late in arriving & they stayed up to welcome us with delicious pie & ice cream. The view was spectacular & the Hosts were gracious. If you need a place to stay this is the ONE.
