The Rosetta Room

The Rosetta Room, my experiences! Quick history; The Rosetta Room is a new 400 capacity venue in Mesa! This venue is owned by the Nile & it has been opened since early summer of 2025. Anytime I see a venue open, it's exciting. We often see more venues close than open. I personally have had excellent experiences at The Rosetta Room. I've been to more than a dozen shows since it has opened & I enjoy going to the "Farm to Mesa Market" on Sundays. I've seen a lot of reviews upset on certain things, so I'd like to provide some clarity on my experiences. The first few shows I attended, the venue was struggling with trying to cool it down with the A/C. Granted, it was 115+ outside for these shows. I've been to recent shows lately where it's almost too cold. However, when it's a sold out show, it tends to get warmer inside. There has been fans added to help circulate the airflow. I wouldn't say it's any warmer than other SOLD OUT shows I've attended at other venues across the valley. The other challenge was with the piping situation. The bathrooms are clean. I use them multiple times when I visit. I have no issues. The obstacle was with the city of Mesa's sewer lines. There was no smell. They just had to close off some restrooms due water leakage. The team here has worked very hard with many local plumbers to help fix this & it has been resolved since. The sound in this venue is great. It seems to fill the room without sounding too muddy. The staff is excellent. There are so many friendly faces who are willing to help you out. There are two separate rooms. The first room is where the merchandise area is. There are couches, tables, & chairs where you can sit. This is all first come, first serve. There is a coffee cart that offers alcohol free options. The options are affordable overall. My go-to is the Americano at $4. The second room is where the show is held. There is an open square shaped space where the GA is allowed. The stage isn't particularly tall. There is no barricade. There are multiple bathroom options available. All are single person restrooms. The other half of the venue is 21+. They'll provide you a wrist band & there is a small bar in the back of the venue. They sell beer & hard seltzer options, along with water & soda. There are no cocktail options. Overall, I always enjoy my experiences here at The Rosetta Room. It's great to have another venue option to host touring acts & local shows. The Rosetta Room offers fee free physical tickets for sale over at the Nile Record Shop a few streets away. I'm excited to watch this venue continually grow & become a staple in the Mesa neighborhood. I really recommend attending the "Farm to Mesa Market". There are great local vendors offering all sorts of goods for sale.

Went for the first time for a concert and didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! All of the staff was very friendly and helpful and while it's a small venue it has a good amount of space. There's seating in the "coffee area" and a bar in the "concert area" so there's separation which was cool. The drink prices aren't outrageous which is a nice change and who doesn't love a small venue for music? Place was clean and there's plenty of parking nearby as well. Can't wait to see who plays here in the future!

We went to see Oceanos last tour at this location and the venue workers were super nice. They allowed us in early due to a dust storm and we were able to see all the band members due to this reason. Such a great people and an awesome place to see your favorite bands in an intimate location. 10/10

Awesome little space with that magical DIY all-ages vibe, Mesa is very lucky to have this place. The sound here is incredible, there’s a buncha bathrooms, and the stage is nice and low so the show can be intimate instead of kept at arm’s length like in all the corporate venues. Hope this spot has decades ahead of it.

Great little venue. Sound was pretty solid, space is well laid out and location is right near a parking structure. I agree with others though about the temperature inside. I was at a sold out show last night and it was crazy hot in there when it was at capacity. They had fans in the side area where the coffee cart was, but zero air movement inside the main band area. They need to get some of those big roof fans or a stronger AC system … last night wasn’t even that hot, so I can’t even imagine it in the middle of summer. I’ll probably pass on attending shows here at that time of year until they get the temperature sorted out. EDIT: you know it's bad when even the headliner band posts on their social media that venue was way too hot

My band held our EP release show here last night, and it was an awesome experience. Everyone from the venue staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional, from the sound guy, to security, to the bartenders, and everyone else we worked with. The venue itself is gorgeous and nicely laid out with the separate rooms, and the green rooms are awesome as well. Their coffee and matcha are also super good. It's a beautiful little venue, and I look forward to playing and attending more shows there in the future.

Last night, I had my first experience at this venue to see Thousand Below. I highly recommend avoiding this place during the summer. The venue is incredibly small and tends to get extremely hot very quickly. While it’s normal for concerts to be hot, this time was particularly unbearable. The bands themselves mentioned how hot it was inside. I doubt I’ll ever return to this venue again, except perhaps during the winter months.

The sound quality is great, but it's way too hot to have concerts there in the summer. It was like hanging out in a very hot, stuffy garage for 3 hours when it's 110 out, so it felt more like a punishment than a concert by the time the main band came on. I'm sure it will be nice in the winter, but I would not recommend it to anyone in the summer until they fix the AC.
