It was our first time here and we absolutely loved it. We tried the bomboleros and they were the incredible. The owner, John, was super welcoming and treated us so kindly. He went out of his way to answer any questions we may have and we custom ordered a cake, which not to mention will be ready tomorrow morning!!

We had New Paradise make us a custom cake for my mom’s 80th birthday, and wow did they knock it out of the park! We discovered the bakery recently and had not had anything when we ordered the cake, but we gave some simple preferences and left the details to their creativity. It came out light and delicious - the fresh strawberry filling was particularly tasty, and the decorations were beautiful. We will absolutely be ordering again.

Placed an Uber order and called ahead to check stock—the owner picked up and was incredibly kind. They gave great recommendations, even included something I couldn’t order through the app, and added a little extra on top. That kind of service is rare. Everything I tried was excellent—the cornetto and cannoli are my favorites, and the chocolate cake is rich and perfect. High quality, very fair prices, and you can tell they care about their customers. Do yourself a favor and try this place—you won’t regret it.

I typically don’t leave complaints, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience as it was quite disappointing. I attempted to call ahead to place an order for pickup, but no one answered the phone after multiple tries. As a result, I came in person and ordered two eggplant sandwiches and one Italian sub. I was told the order would be ready in 15 minutes, but it ended up taking over 45 minutes. When I asked someone from the kitchen for an update, he laughed and told me it was “made to order” — even after I explained how long I had been waiting. To make matters worse, when I received my order, I noticed the young woman who had helped me was visibly upset and crying, which was also concerning. Once I got home, I found that both eggplant sandwiches were soggy, drenched in sauce, and unappetizing. One had barely a single piece of eggplant, while the other was overloaded — there was no consistency at all. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced long wait times here, even when the shop appears to be empty. I’m requesting that a manager reach out, as I would like to discuss this matter further.

Absolutely amazing!! I had a very specific custom cake in mind, and New Paradise Bakery (and Earl in particular) really brought my vision to life! I had never tried this bakery before (I'm not a local), but when I saw the custom cakes on their Instagram, I decided to give them a call. My experience was truly fantastic! They got back to me quickly, and the communication was excellent. Earl is masterful when it comes to custom cakes - he listened very carefully and took my idea and ran with it - the end result was out-of-this-world - the most stunning custom cake I've ever requested! The cake was a work of art! Earl was incredibly helpful and went far above and beyond to make it happen! And this is not to mention the gorgeous pastries - I could go on about them as well! I'm so glad I found New Paradise Bakery; I highly recommend them! Thank you, Earl and John! :)

This place has really gone downhill. It used to be fine to go to for a coffee and pastry. But the last several times we've been here the service has been SO BAD. Not just bad, but totally incompetent and untruthful. One small example: The menu board says $2.00 for both a small and large espresso. I asked for clarification, and the woman at the counter said that's the price for each. But upon paying later, a price came up that was $1.50 higher. We informed her the price is wrong. She mumbled something, said that's the price in the computer. Very confused. Then she saw where on the very bottom of the menu board someone had written "Extra shot $1.50 extra". Um, why not write the correct price if a large (two shots in the rest of the known universe) costs $3.50? Neither she, nor me, nor my partner saw that "fine print.". This is just one example. All the prices in the computer on our last trip were different than the written menu board. The counter person had no idea why, just said "that's what's in the computer, I guess I'd have to talk to the owner." Huh? Also, owner not there. I could cite several other examples, all irritating and unprofessional. Honestly, not even meeting basic competency. I asked if she could correct the chalk menu board to make it accurate. She said she could not (ahem, it's CHALK) and would have to ask the owner. Kind of not empowered to, uh, change the chalk board to correct the price? The food is neither very good nor very bad, it's meh. Used to be better, the pastries this last time did not impress. The last two times before this, more meh. The bathroom wall is unfinished 2x4 stud wall. Ran out of money Kind of janky. I don't know, there are other better places out there. For example, Baked by Jane on Northwest Hwy. which is always quality and always friendly (and competent, which should go without saying.) My recommendation is head there instead. The partner and I decided we'd be skipping New Paradise from now until forever. I wish them well and hope they can get a clue. It's coffee and donuts people, it should not be this hard.

Incredible! LOVE going here! Best latte I've had and so I decided to get my friends bday cake from them! They did a custom design based on some photos I provided and it came out PERFECT! The cake also tasted amazing!
