York Harbor Inn

Buena atención pero la habitación era tan pequeña que no había sitio para las maletas o para ponerse de pie a los costados de la cama. Y las vistas desde la misma eran a una pared a un metro. El desayuno estaba en una sala con vistas preciosas pero aunque tenía buena calidad había poca variedad. Caro para lo que ofrecen.

Es una joya en Maine, lo mejor de la comida fué lobster carbonara y el clam chawder, las habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas, todo el hotel tiene un ambiente acogedor, música en vivo en el restaurante principal y excelente servicio, muy recomendable. Espero regresar pronto.

Bonito y comodo

We fell in love with the York Harbor Inn, almost on sight. This is a classic, very upscale hotel with everything you might want. The hotel staff were delightful - chatty and helpful with great suggestions to make our stay even better. Our room was #35, in the house (built in 1743) next door to the main inn. It's not often one has an opportunity to stay in a historic building like this, giving guests a unique and very real sense of America's rich past. In other words, this isn't a cookie-cutter hotel with modern styling or furnishings. (However, it's not shabby, either. Everything in the hotel was high-quality, built to endure, and classic.) Of course, we loved the ocean views from our dormer-style windows. Falling asleep with the windows open, enjoying fresh salt air, and the sound of the waves...? Priceless! The room's a/c was excellent. The shower - and whirlpool bath - were SO relaxing! Soundproofing was - as expected - perfect; we did not hear anyone else in the house, at all. The bed was comfy and the linens... great. Everything in the room was what we'd hoped for. Also, though this hotel is on a well-traveled road through the town of York, we didn't hear any vehicles. And then there was breakfast... Oh my, it was easily the most delicious, magnificent breakfast buffet we've ever encountered. The array of choices, all of them the highest quality and freshly prepared... tremendous! We went back for seconds of everything. The York Harbor Inn cannot be compared to any other hotel we've ever stayed at. Also, the location - directly across the beach from a gorgeous cliff walk, as well as the often overlooked York Harbor Beach - is reason enough to stay at this hotel. This hotel is among the best you'll ever find, and it's a historical gem in one of New England's loveliest towns. For us, five stars aren't enough for how great this hotel is. We hope to return there again in the future.

York Harbor Inn is so special and definitely is “Heaven by the sea!” Our room was comfortable and clean. All the staff were so friendly! Breakfast was always delicious with a beautiful view! A real highlight was Friday - dining in the Cellar Pub! Music was great! The place was rock’n! We loved walking and relaxing in the park right across the street overlooking the beach - so beautiful!
