CVS Pharmacy

I appreciate the staff, pharmacists, (Helen) patience and thorough explanation of my prescription, especially when I had questions about my insurance being reinstated and paying for my meds., out of pocket. Helen was very helpful with my dilemma.

I have been going to CVS in Maplewood for a number of years. I go to pick up prescription’s for my husband. You have a young lady who works sometimes in the pharmacy and sometimes in the front of the store. Her name is Candie and she stands out from the other employees because she alway greets you with a warm and friendly smile and she goes out of her way to help you! Candie is very knowledgeable about products in the store. Because of Candie l’ll give CVS a five star rating because that’s what I give Candie a five rating for a job well done!👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very Satisfied Senior Customer 🥰

CVS at 453 Valley St, Maplewood NJ Fast service, patient, polite and respectful pharmacist & staff members!! No improvement needed in my opinion because I have never experienced an issue while picking up my prescription or shopping at this CVS location. All the staff are helpful, friendly and the store is clean ….

Extremely rude pharmacist who spoke back to me when I asked a simple question. They should be fired. I've never experienced such horrible customer service at a pharmacy in my life. This is a miserable person who shouldn't have a job. They hung up on me for asking a simple question. Please do better CVS-do not allow such rude an unprofessional people to work at your pharmacy.

The pharmacy team member who gave me the vaccination was very friendly and helpful. He did a very professional job in giving me the vaccination.

There are two full-time pharmacists at this CVS (both women in their late-20's/early-30's). I was very happy and surprised at how good they are!: They are very efficient, very helpful, competent, knowledgeable, and respectful.They greet me by name and remember what we discussed last time I was there (for example, an insurance issue, or waiting to hear from doctor). On the way out, I complemented the manager on how great the pharmacist was. He smiled, shook his head "yep", and he softly said matter-of-factly) "I hear that from other customers as well.".The other store staff seem consistently nice, professional, helpful, and have a good attitude. They always seem to be in a pleasant mood, sincere and appreciative they're working there. Cool! and refreshing! The manager there seems to be doing a good job hiring, running the place and setting a good example. First time I left there I was thinking "Hmmm. Wow. Refreshing". Too rare in chain stores these days..

The CVS in Maplewood is notorious for by passing the newest and latest prescriptions and using an old prescription that they choose to use because of a lower does or price factor. In order to be efficient, old prescriptions should be cleared from the computer to prevent mishaps.
