Muy lindo lugar.

I saw Bare Naked Ladies here in June 2025 and had awesome seats towards the front. It was a great experience! I honestly didn't realize it was going to be an outdoor show (I know, not enough research), but the sound was great and the check-in experience at the gate was smooth. I saw Rilo Kiley here a couple of weeks ago and didn't have seats at all. I stood at the literal furthest back area of the hill facing the stage and it was still a great time. The sound was excellent. The crowd was engaged with the artist. The staff were friendly when I had a question. (They did tell us to "move it along" when the concert was over, but they weren't rude about it.) Overall I've been happy with my experiences here. I'll update if anything changes.

An OK venue. Why? So someone must've said.. let's make a trendy City Center location with food, bars , shopping and an Amphitheatre! Sounds fun! And let's include a nice walking trail behind it! That sounds fantastic! Let's put it around this standing water pond that surely won't have a bug problem! . . . . So. Obviously wear bug repellent. The men's bathroom stall on the lower level outside doesn't have a lock on it. The acoustics are very meh because the stage is just a boxing from of a giant brick wall. But hey the parking was cheap at least, $5.

Great sound. Interesting and versatile building. Security staff was incredible and the hands down coolest group I've encountered in 30 plus years of concerts. helping people out and getting them safely over the rail and even passing out cold water to the sardines up by the rail between bands. Excellent venue

Great spot for an outdoors concert in the summer! Seeing the Rattle Snake Milk, Top House, and The Dead South was a blast! The grass area was surprisingly smart/cute for those that didn't want to be up and Infront.

I decided to make the relativley short drive to LaVista to see Burton Cummings of the Guess Who for the 2nd time in 3 days. This was Wednesday July 23. I had just seen the show Sunday night, July 20 in Des Moines. I was able to get two seats for the price of one I paid for the show in Des Moines. My wife had to work on Sunday night. My wife and I were in 3rd row from the stage. How I was able to get two seats, at the end of the row when I ordered them on Monday July 21 is a mystery. All I can say I am very happy I did. I was expecting there would be audience giveaways since that is what he did in Des Moines. And what do you know! My beautiful wife, way younger than me and a native of the Philipinnes caught the attention of Burton Cummings when he passed out 4 Commemorative, 60 years of Music Gold Coins!The venue is great, parking is amazingly convenient. We left at the encore to get a headstart for the drive back to Des Moines. An usher, a woman asked us if were leaving for the night, we said yes, and she said take this door and you will be on your way. And we were. My only suggestion is to make available or allow concertgoers to have a seat cushion. I am a small guy, at the most 155 pounds, only 5'7". The chairs do get a bit uncomfortable. Eventually we were all standing and dancing so not a huge deal. Thank you The Astro for booking Burton Cummings! Great show, great venue. All the ushers are polite and cordial. An extra added bonus is having the Chili's within easy walking distance for a nice meal before the show.

It was a great concert. The Amphitheater is outdoors. Down a lot of steps or a very long sloping ramp. Half way down the ramp, you can opt to go down a slide. Parking garages across the street.

The outdoor venue was great and the food was good too. To me the prices for food and drink are about what I would expect and what I've seen at other outdoor concert venues.
