Cherokee Medical Center

It’s so weird because I was told my father died on the Ems. They say he died on the way to the hospital is what I was told. I called the hospital to ask why the coroner called me and not them. I was told my father was never brought in on Ems. An they didn’t have any documentation of him arriving at the hospital. Because the coroner denied an autopsy that my family requested. An wouldn’t explain why after I asked multiple times. An I’m hurt because it’s confusing. They say he died on the Ems, but I called the hospital and they say he never came there on 8/15/2025. I say well did you get the call from the nursing facility, for the Ems to pick him up? They said no maam! We have no record of your father coming in this hospital or dying or anything. Now when I call they don’t wanna give any information to me even with legal documentation. Unjust never prospers and the Bible says we reap what we sow. Don’t take your loved ones here please for the love of God!

This small hospital is 100 times better than Spartanburg regional, everyone there treats you like family. Regional staff acts like they are doing you a huge favor by helping with simple things. Cherokee medical center goes above and beyond to help. Will never go back to Regional. Have 1 great doctor there, Coy Eaton, he IA awesome. The rest...wouldn't send my worst enemy to

Absolutely horrendous care from this facility and its staff. After 6+ hrs we left with zero answers to why my 7mo son was sick. They have absolutely no clue what they are doing very disorganized. They tried to shove a catheter in a 7mo baby when they knew the whole time they could simply tie a bag to him. Who puts an infant through that? Unqualified nurses and irresponsible “doctors”. While they pretended to play doctor they wasted hours testing for nonsense like covid while he has one symptom of the virus. Did a pointless chest Xray and a pile of other tests to send us home with NO ANSWERS. Took my son to the Greenville children’s hospital 2 hrs later that next morning guess what we have an answer. He had an ear infection the “doctor” never noticed. Maybe if he wasn’t hunting for the infamous COVID-19 he would have realized the EAR INFECTION. The doctor at Cherokee medical center even told us his ears were perfectly fine and normal. The board of medicine will be hearing about this and I hope they shut this place down and pull the doctor and the nurse’s licenses. What kind of person tries to catheter an infant 3 times. Absolute barbaric treatment. I wouldn’t take my worst enemy to this hospital and we will never be back.

I had an ultrasound and met "Anna S." I thought she was incredible! She has great empathy and compassion. I was thoroughly impressed to get to know her story. A great employee at this medical center! A job well done.

If I could give zero I would!!! This hospital is a joke! They do not treat people with any care, they misdiagnosed and gave medication for something I didn't have. My daughter was tested for a UTI and couldn't get the results after waiting for 3 hours was told after asking 1 time what was going on that if I wanted results I would have to wait! Why is it so hard to find care givers that actually care!?!? This hospital and it's employee's are hands down the worst I have ever experienced in my life! Do Not Recommend!!!

The disrespectful doctors and nurses here will be reported. I am unable to give less than one star unfortunately but I will make sure actions are taken with the terrible bedside manner of the staff at this medical facility. The experience I had with who I’m supposed to trust with my life was nothing short of traumatizing

Do not recommend this place! The doctors and nurses could care less if you live or die. Went in, had a CT scan, they tried discharging me without telling me any results and not caring about my pain
